Bro. Sidney's son, Sidney, Jr., who lives in Los Angeles, CA, recently received a kidney transplant from his sister Lorraine. The surgery was performed at UCLA and both are doing just great!

Bro. Lloyd Flippen- Thomas, Marlene & Barbara's brother-in-law (in Buffalo, NY).
Mother Orelia "Rita" Carter- Thomas & Marlene's "adopted" Mother- back in rehabilitation facility.
Sis. Nancy Garner- Sis. Marlene's niece in Buffalo, NY, asking for prayers.

The NAFCI extends their Sincere and Heartfelt Sympathy to the following members and their families:
Bro. Ira Bashir (Tri-State) and Bro. Roy Dixon (National) mourn the loss of their last maternal aunt, 94 year old Mother Elizabeth "Bessie" Goynes of Tampa, Florida. She transitioned from this life on Sunday, October 30, 2011. Homegoing Services were held on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the College Hill Church of God in Christ in Tampa. We all continue to keep our brothers and their families in our thoughts and prayers.
