About the Local Chapter: Our chapter was formed in 1978 in New Jersey with Curry Donar as our President  Our membership consisted of members from New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, & Delaware.  In 1980, Cobb Marvis Wynn was elected President.  We have hosted two National Conferences- Secaucus, NJ in 1983 and Nashville, Tenn. in 2003.  In the early 90's quite a few of our members retired and moved back home to Panama City, Fl. and our chapter was grandfathered in to remain intact.  Since we all live in different cities/states, each member does community service in their areas- visiting the sick, taking them to doctor appointments, shopping and helping them around their homes.  Our annual dues is our main source of income which we use to meet our National obligations, give annual scholarships and Christmas baskets.

Meeting dates/time: We meet only twice a year because of living areas of our membership: at the Mid-winter or National Conferences and the dates & times of the other meetings vary.  We hold meetings in states up and down the East coast.

Local Chapter Yearly Events:  Handout Christmas baskets to the elderly, sick & shut-in; yearly scholarships and follow that student with donations through four years of college, if criteria is met.
