The heart of the National Association of Floridian Clubs, Inc. (NAFCI) is the Local Club itself. Each club is composed of men and women in a wide variety of occupations, representing the active forces of their communities. Each club has officers as prescribed by the by-laws of the organization. These officers comprise the administrative body of the Club. Clubs perform their community service work and their internal administration through standing committees. Each member is expected to work with one or more of these committees consistent with his/her desires and aptitudes. All NAFCI clubs are organized according to a standard basic plan. In addition to required national service projects, each club has freedom in developing local service projects, fundraising activities and meeting procedures. Each club through its own imagination and growth lends flavor and excitement to the entire NAFCI Organization as it adapts the ideals and constitutional purposes of NAFCI to its own community.
